Brendan Crummey

We, at Queen’s Football club are saddened to learn of the death of Brendan Crummey (Brum) who was a very popular member of the Club in the in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

A cultured defender in an era when cultured defending was hard to find, Brendan was a member of our club during a period when we had one of our best ever teams. He played in the final of the Intermediate Cup in 1980 and he was also in our team which won the Collingwood cup in Coleraine in 1982.

He was an absolute gentleman, and it was always a pleasure to meet him again at various reunions over the years.

Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
