We will be hosting the Collingwood Cup, sponsored by Rustler’s, in February 2018, for the first time since 2004.
We would love to see, at the games, any former Queen’s players, especially those who played in the Collingwood in the past. A warm welcome awaits (free coffee/tea and biscuits for all).
Our Chairman has a welcome document with all the fixtures here.
The Collingwood Cup is coming back to Queen’s in 2018! Our chairman has all the news from the draw that took place on Friday the 8th December, a preview and some history right here.

The club information has been updated with pen pics and real pics of the Management Team and First Team Squad. This piece written by Bishop Tony is highly recommended.
A big thank you to Victor Robinson (Father of Adam) for collating all the information.
The Queen’s Playing Fields at the Dub is a very busy place frequented by lots of teams and
spectators from many different sports.
Queen’s Soccer club is offering businesses the opportunity to promote themselves via advertising
banners at the number 1 Soccer pitch on the grounds.

We had a total of 63 players at our trials on Monday and Wednesday of this week, a good number
considering the poor weather especially on Wednesday.
Spotting the best players among so many is a most difficult task. Our coaches identified those who
showed up best and invited them to our training. A number of the new players have been included in
our Colts team tomorrow.
Obviously, a lot of players have not been asked to stay with the club, and I am sure they are
disappointed. However, recreational 5-a- side football is available at the PE Centre on Wednesdays 2-
5pm and hopefully some of you will take part in that.
We are always keen to know of students who are playing for other clubs at a high level. These
players may want to come and try to make it with our first team or may want to stay where they are
and still play for Queen’s in the Collingwood Cup in February. Contact first team manager Peter
Thompson firstname.lastname@example.org with your footballing CV if this interests you.
Finally, a big thank you goes to our coaches and our volunteers for all their help this past week.
Queen’s University FC is on the lookout for students players who are good enough to improve our first team which plays in the NIFL Premier Intermediate League. If you are coming to Queen’s this September or if you are already a Queen’s student who has played at this level, we would like to hear from you. Email us to email@example.com with your CV and let us know who you have played for, your best playing position etc.
Our preseason training will begin on Saturday 1 st July, our first competitive game will be on Saturday 5th August and the transfer window will close on 31st August, so please contact us as soon as possible.

After three very successful years, Ian McArthur, our Colts’ manager, has stepped down. Ian has done a wonderful job in recruiting and nurturing players, while also combining this with success. 2015-16 saw him and his charges lift the NAFL 3F title and in 2016-17 they ignored the form book for promoted sides and finished 5th in 3E.
Ian has been a hugely positive influence at the club and we will miss all that he has brought to the job. Thank you very much Ian from all at QUBAFC.
