Queen’s University 5 Lisburn Distillery 0

The visitors were soon on the back foot and it was no surprise when Philip Traynor opened the scoring after just 9 minutes, sweeping home a low cross from Conor Mulholland. In a similar attack Mulholland again passed to Traynor whose shot this time was saved by Patrick Saunders. Traynor then turned provider, setting up Mulholland who shot low under Saunders. The third goal soon arrived, with Traynor dribbling round Saunders and rolling the ball into the empty net.

Just after the break Chris Middleton played in Mulholland on the right and his cross was turned in by Matt Hughes. Lisburn Distillery had more possession in the second period but the final say went to Hughes who picked up a loose ball on the edge of the box and thumped the ball past Saunders to complete a comprehensive victory.
